Speaker-Supper evening, Friday 5 February 7.30pm – Lord Hope of Craighead

The next of our popular Speaker-Supper evenings will have Lord Hope of Craighead as guest speaker. Lord Hope. David Hope KT PC FRSE is a retired Scottish judge who was the first Deputy President of the UK Supreme Court. He was previously the the Lord President of the Court of Session and Lord Justice General, Scotland’s highest judge. He is currently the Convener of Crossbench peers in the House of Lords.

He has also served as the Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of 2015 (representing the Queen) and will be the Lord High Commissioner at the 2016 General Assembly.

Tickets for this event will be going on sale shortly, available either at the Church on Sundays, or from the Church Office, Cluny Centre, 1 Cluny Drive. The event is open to anyone who would like to attend, though there are a limited number of tickets available. When booking your ticket please let us know if you have any food allergies.
