They meet on the first Monday of the month for 3 months: October, November and December; have a break in January and then meet in February, March and April. They meet at 10.30 am in Cluny Centre to deliver the garments they have knitted, collect more wool or just to drink coffee and chat.
The Homeless Project at St Catharine’s Convent, Braeside Home for the Blind, the Children’s Hospice, Blythswood Care, Bethany Christian Trust and the District Nurses all welcome the beautiful garments made. Baby hats and jackets, tops for toddlers, bed jackets, shrugs, bed socks, woolly hats and knee rugs are just some of the items.
Coffee and a warm welcome is extended to any newcomers who fancy coming.
