Jennifer Stark – new Associate for Christian Education and Pastoral Care

The Kirk Session is delighted to confirm that Jennifer Stark is the new Associate for Christian Education and Pastoral Care. Her responsibilities include working with children and families in the congregation, particularly with the Crèche, Sunday Club and Baby and Toddlers Group. She will also carry out pastoral visits and be involved with worship.

Jennifer comes with a wealth of experience from similar positions in Leith and Glenrothes, as well as holding degrees from St Andrews, Lancaster and Leeds. Jennifer worked as the Leader of the Leith Churches Outreach Project for five years where her work involved developing retail chaplaincy and outreach in Ocean Terminal, supporting the ecumenical Leith Port chaplaincy, running children’s events and holiday clubs, school chaplaincy and organising Lent and other study groups. She has also volunteered with the Samaritans, and was a volunteer in a hospice.
